Our commitments

Our commitments

Our ambition? Make Bordeaux wines one of the jewels of French agriculture while respecting the people involved!

The production and sale of our wines is one of the main economic backbones of the Gironde: our companies bring together a wide range of activities, which are shaping the landscape of the department and injecting new life into the local economy.

At the same time, our wine region is committed to a real ecological revolution. It is also an exemplary skills center thanks to its scientific engineering and research institutes (ISVV, INRAE, etc.) and innovative start-ups.

We are our region, we are Bordeaux. That is why we want to step up our role to protect the local economy while meeting social, societal and environmental requirements.

Discover the 4 main commitments of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy!

Contributing to an attractive industry

Because our workforce is a key asset to our companies, the future of Bordeaux wines depends more than ever on ensuring our sector remains attractive, developing employees’ skills and retaining their loyalty.

Promoting dialogue

Ethics, fair commercial practices, traceability, transparency and responsible drinking are at the heart of all our actions in a bid to meet consumer expectations.

Bringing our region to life

Because our region is also a terroir, a symbol of the quality of our PDOs, we want to prioritize the local economy, living in harmony and solidarity, and protect our heritage and landscapes.

Protecting the environment

At the heart of this challenge? The ecological transition, respecting biodiversity, protecting natural resources, renewable energy and reducing our carbon footprint.
