2003 – An unparalleled vintage

This year, the vineyards were not spared from the vagaries of the weather. Unusually violent thunderstorms and hailstorms struck several Bordeaux regions. Entire vineyard plots were shredded by hailstones or flattened by the wind. The warm spring and searing summer, coupled with water stress, accelerated the ripening of the grapes for exceptionally early harvests.

RED WINES

These intensely colored wines have rich, complex aromas. The tannins are mature, round, and powerful, giving them superb structure.

DRY WHITE WINES

Elegant, fresh, and subtle. These wines are generally successes, with tropical aromatic notes.

SWEET WHITE WINES

These are wines with an aromatic nose, extreme purity, and a rarely seen sugar content, along with higher alcohol content and the apricot aromas typical of sweet wines.
