Rooted in the soil yet turned towards the future!
“We are a group of enlightened industry players who are naturally committed, with our feet planted firmly on the ground and our eyes open to the great challenges that lie ahead in the vineyards. We invent and transform our practices to support the sustainable development of our companies.”
In 2020, after more than 30 years of commitments to environmental progress, our industry has decided to go one step further in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR). A firm believer in the strength of the collective, we have created our very own strategy to support companies (winegrowers, negociants and cooperative cellars). Its name is Sustainable Impact.
In 2023/2024, Sustainable Impact brought together 82 certified companies (including 2 corporate headquarters) across the Bordeaux wine region.
74 wine estates
24 trading houses
2 cooperative cellars
10,327 hectares of vineyards
3,661 employees
Over 30% of wine volumes

Both multifaceted and unique, Sustainable Impact binds us through our shared values. This strategy aims to be:
Comprehensive: all sustainable development challenges are taken into account;
Shared: many key industry players have been involved since the beginning;
Collective : it represents the commitments of the entire wine industry, including winegrowers, cooperative cellars and negociants;
Monitored: regular internal audits and certification via an independent third-party organization ensure compliance with the commitments of each company.
