Contributing to an attractive industry!

We help to preserve the value of the Bordeaux brand and its fair distribution of wealth between employees, winegrowers, negociants and suppliers.

Préparer le vin de demain

In 2023, Bordeaux wine exports represented 2.23 billion euros, thus concentrating 31% of the total exported value in Gironde: this makes us the department’s industry leader for exports, ahead of aeronautics! In addition, the Bordeaux wine industry is the biggest employer in the Gironde, with 60,000 direct and indirect jobs, bringing together a large panel of skills and activities from the vineyard to the cellar, including administrative, commercial and even transport roles.

To ensure that the Bordeaux vineyards remain a key player in the wine industry, we are always focusing on innovation! Our ambition is to continue to attract talent, secure employee loyalty and protect the “Bordeaux” brand against counterfeits. The expertise and talent of those who work in the sector are essential to finding the right balance between our time-honored heritage and our ability to reinvent ourselves.

The future of our companies and activities depends on it!

Our main objectives

  • Attract new talent;
  • Build employee loyalty by better listening to their needs;
  • Ensure regular employee training;
  • Closely monitor accident analysis and implement preventive measures for our employees;
  • Take better account of the strenuous nature of certain activities (i.e. repetitive tasks in the vineyards or carrying heavy loads);
  • Host interns and apprentices;
  • Diversify our companies’ activities (such as wine tourism);
  • Develop ways to detect counterfeits to enhance the appeal of the “Bordeaux” brand.

In the vineyard

  • 60,000 direct and indirect jobs;
  • 5,000 winegrowers (PDO winegrowers), 300negociant firms and 29 cooperative cellars;
