A pairing that goes for the fruity notes! This Bordeaux white wine with hints of citrus enhances the fruity, sweet and savoury notes of these old-fashioned vegetables.

INGREDIENTS
1kg of root vegetables: orange and purple carrots, yellow turnips, parsnip, etc.
orange juice
a splash of olive oil
1 tablespoon of honey
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C for 20 to 30 minutes. Peel the vegetables if necessary (skin can be left on vegetables if they're organic). Leave the vegetables whole or cut them in two depending on the size of each, and the visual aspect sought.
Lay them on greaseproof paper in a non-stick metal dish or baking tray. Mix the orange juice with a splash of olive oil and the honey. Brush or pour juice evenly over the vegetables. Cover with greaseproof paper and cook approx. 35 mins, regularly basting with cooking juices.
