This was a difficult year for winegrowers.
The cold spring and February frosts hurt the young plants, along with the lack of moisture, which impacted the volume of the harvest. But the lovely weather in August and September made it possible for the plants to make up for lost time.
RED WINES
Deeply colored, with clearly present fruit and silky, rich tannins. Clear freshness, density, and complexity with spicy, fruity, and floral aroma
DRY WHITE WINES
These wines have distinctive purity and astonishing aromatic complexity. The Sauvignon Blanc creates an explosion of grapefruit and lemon citrus notes and freshness on the palate. The Sémillon adds structure.
SWEET WHITE WINES
Delicate wines of lovely aromatic purity. They boast striking finesse that is lighter, more ethereal than earlier vintages.
ROSÉ AND CLAIRET WINES
They are full, crystalline, with lovely aromatic potency. The Bordeaux Clairet is classic: fleshy, with red berry and floral aromas.
