2015 Everyday Bordeaux Selection
This annual selection has been running for eleven years and was originally created highlight a range of excellent value for money Bordeaux wines for every occasion, priced between £6 and £20. The selection covers a diversity of colours and styles, including supple & fruity reds, structured & generous dry white wines and unctuous & intense sweet white wines.The jury, which consisted of independent members of the Association of Wine Educators, with Richard Bampfield Master of Wine as chair, blind-tasted a staggering 160 wines. These were divided into different groups or ‘flights’ (each group with similar wines) with their labels hidden under black felt jackets and numbered. The judges then individually recorded their tasting comments against each wine and gave them a quality rating.
