Bordeaux Good Food Summer Show

Ranging from crisp & fruity dry white wine to unctuous & intense sweet white wine, Bordeaux offers an affordable array of wines (red, dry white, rosé and sweet white) to suit any occasion. Priced from £6 – £20, the range is part of our Everyday Bordeaux Selection, which is blind tasted by a accredited Bordeaux wine tutors and updated every year.At the stall, which was decked out in the beautiful butterfly image from Bordeaux Wines UK’s newest advertising campaign (highlighting Bordeaux”s array of colours), Laura Clay and Vivienne Franks – Bordeaux wine accredited tutors – were on hand to advise about wine, as well as food and wine pairings. Ticket holders also had the opportunity to discover their own Bordeaux style by playing a game specifically designed to identify your personal tasting profile and for a chance to win a case of Bordeaux wine. The game is also available to play online – just click here to play!While customers were discovering their preferred Bordeaux style, we wandered around the exhibition space to soak in the atmosphere and peruse the numerous food stalls – cheese, peaches, meringues, curry, burgers and even Turkish delight that made some fun and unexpected wine pairings! How about Turkish delight with mellow & fruity Bordeaux sweet white wine?!The next BBC Good Food event will take place from the 29-31 August at Hampton Court Palace and the following from the 13-15 November at London Olympia.
