These wines are made of a blend of the best-known Bordeaux grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. They can also be made from a single grape variety. The vintage also has an impact on the profile of these wines. Structured wines, they offer a beautiful concentration of aromas and are well-balanced.
They can be enjoyed relatively young while having good aging potential, from 5 to 10 years.
HOW TO SPOT THEM?
Their labels are part of the traditional wines from Bordeaux, modernised or refined, but imbued with the identity of the winemaker and their terroir.
Red wines characterised by their freshness and fruitiness, allowing them to be enjoyed as an aperitif as well as with an everyday dish or finger food.
From harvest to vinification, the key to these vintages is the preservation of freshness and fruit. Harvested early, the grapes benefit from short aging in barrels or stainless steel vats.
When blending, classic or single varietal, it is the expression of the fruit that dominates. Through these wines, the winemakers commit to continuity in the quality of their production, from vintage to vintage.

HOW TO SPOT THEM?
Their bottles are often shaped differently from the property's other vintages to contribute to their originality. Their labels are imbued with the originality and creativity of the winemakers. The packaging reflects their simplicity with modern labels suggesting uninhibited consumption. They are offered both in bottles and in boxes, or cans.
Wines with surprising profiles, that express something different in the range of a winemaker. They offer another approach to Bordeaux terroirs – aging, blending, packaging, etc. – everything is designed to reinvent Bordeaux reds and offer a new tasting experience.
These atypical wines are imbued with the raw nature of the Bordeaux terroirs. Selection of old grape varieties (e.g. Petit Verdot, Carménère, Malbec), old vines, single-varietal vintages, aging in amphorae, vinification without added sulfur, or use of native yeasts, the list goes on and on.
TASTING ADVICE:
Most often enjoyed young and fresh (around 17-18°C), these wines offer an original, supple taste profile on the palate, with very expressive aromas of fruit, peppery notes and melted tannins.
HOW TO SPOT THEM?
Their bottles are often shaped in different ways from the property's other vintages to contribute to their originality with unusual labels.
Signature, iconic wines that perpetuate the tradition of classic Bordeau reds. They represent exceptional vintages of the region.
These wines are haute couture with innovative techniques serving quality and tailor-made choices at each stage: micro-plot selections, manual harvesting, aging for several months in French oak barrels. These wines convey the excellence of the terroirs and Bordeaux knowledge.
A powerful red, their colour is deep and dense. On the palate, they offer finesse, length and aromatic richness alongside the notes of very ripe black fruits with subtle grilled, toasted, and vanilla notes.
TASTING ADVICE:
You will be able to enjoy these wines in 10, 15 or even 20 years. If you have a wine cellar, this will be ideal for storing them.
HOW TO SPOT THEM?
They are mainly offered in so-called Bordeaux-shaped bottles. Their labels represent their exceptional character: Grand Cru Classé, Cuvée Prestige, Grande Cuvée, etc.
Although the Crémant appellation is one of the most recent in the Bordeaux region (1990), the production of sparkling wines in Bordeaux is a century-old tradition. With its delicate bubbles and full of freshness, Crémant de Bordeaux, is the perfect accompaniment for festive occasions.
There are two types of Crémant de Bordeaux – white and rosé.
With the white, you will experience fine bubbles with aromas of citrus and white flowers, such as acacia hazelnuts, and buttery or toasty notes.
White Crémant de Bordeaux represents 69% of the production of Crémant de Bordeaux and involves 214 winemakers. They can be produced using all Bordeaux grape varieties, both white and red.
For the Crémant rosé, the bubbles are lively with notes of red fruit. Its aromas are similar to redcurrant, strawberry or raspberry.
Crémant de Bordeaux Rosé are made from the red grape varieties of Bordeaux: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot.
